Wiwanthai Massage — Website Redesign

Client: Wiwanthai Massage
Industry: Wellness / Traditional Thai Massage
Website: https://wiwanthai.com
Project Timeline: 6 weeks
Team: 3 specialists (Designer, Developer, Project Manager)
Tech Stack: WordPress + Elementor + WooCommerce

Overview

Wiwanthai Massage is a Thai wellness studio in Yamba, NSW, offering traditional Thai massage and relaxation therapies. Their brand message focuses on restoring balance and promoting wellbeing, while also educating visitors on Thai massage as a traditional healing system that combines acupressure and assisted stretching. Our goal was to translate that calm, premium in-store experience into a clean, modern website that also performs as a conversion tool—especially on mobile.

Background

For local service businesses, a website must do a few things exceptionally well: establish trust fast, communicate services clearly, and make booking/contact effortless. Wiwanthai also needed their website to reinforce their positioning around “Traditional Healing Through Thai Massage” and “Find inner balance, elevate wellness,” while keeping navigation simple for first-time visitors. Project Objectives

We aligned the project around outcomes that matter for a local wellness business:

  • Create a modern, calming visual system that reflects the Wiwanthai brand experience. Source

  • Improve clarity around what Thai massage is and why it matters (education → confidence → conversion). Source

  • Make online bookings the primary conversion path—especially for mobile users.

  • Ensure contact/location details are easy to find for high-intent visitors (call/email/location). Source

Challenges

Key hurdles we solved:

  • Balancing atmosphere with clarity: wellness sites often look great but don’t guide users well. We kept the brand calm while making actions (booking/contact) obvious.

  • Mobile-first conversion: most local discovery happens on phones; the experience had to be fast, readable, and action-oriented.

  • Trust signals for new visitors: clear identity, location, and contact details needed to be visible and consistent across the site. Source

Our Solution

We delivered a conversion-focused WordPress build designed for clarity, trust, and mobile performance.

1) Brand-forward UI with a calming aesthetic

We created a clean, modern layout using Wiwanthai’s existing visual direction to communicate relaxation and professionalism from the first scroll. Source

2) Clear content structure that educates and converts

We structured the homepage messaging around what visitors need immediately: what Thai massage is, what it helps with, and why Wiwanthai is the right choice in Yamba—reducing uncertainty for first-time customers. Source

3) Booking-enabled build with scalable management

Using WordPress + Elementor + WooCommerce, we implemented a site foundation that’s easy for the client to maintain and scale—supporting booking-related flows and service management without requiring a custom-code dependency.

4) Strong contact accessibility (especially for mobile)

We ensured contact information is consistently accessible:

  • Email: info@wiwanthai.com

  • Phone: +61 475 262 153

  • Address: 26 Yamba street near sweet and spicy restaurant, NSW 2464

This reduces friction for users who prefer calling or messaging instead of booking online. Source

Impact & Results

Post-launch performance improvements (client-reported):

  • +40% increase in online bookings

  • +60% improvement in mobile traffic

These results reflect a better mobile-first experience, clearer service communication, and stronger conversion pathways from entry → decision → booking.

Operational Improvements

Beyond growth metrics, the new website improved day-to-day operations:

  • Easier customer acquisition through clearer messaging and conversion flow. Source

  • Reduced repetitive inquiries by making contact/location details prominent. Source

  • A maintainable CMS setup that supports ongoing updates without development bottlenecks.
